With her training in Psychology, she strongly believes that experiential learning with the development of critical thinking skills is crucial for children to succeed in the modern world. And that we need to move away from a one -size-fits-all factory system of education to a more natural and personalized approach focusing on the needs and capabilities of the child.
Purni Krishnakumar
A Special Educationist, psychologist and educational consultant, Purni Krishnakumar is an expert in teacher training and learning behaviour. She is a certified trainer in Cognitive Learning specialising in the imparting of higher thinking skills to children.
She is the founder of Learnscape – the Educational Consultancy that focuses on building and strengthening thinking, speaking, reading and writing skills among students in a number of educational institutions. Her training has benefitted hundreds of teachers and hundreds of thousands of students over the last three decades.
She has authored over a dozen children’s books that facilitate English language skills.
Her Learnscape programme is used in the “Steps to Success” Primary Schools programme run by Samskriya Foundation.
Charu Karun
A certified Montessori trainer, Charu Karun has trained and worked in the USA for almost a decade.
She has designed the Math personalized learning program based on the Montessori methodology, for the “Steps to Success” Primary Schools programme. She oversees the “Steps to Success” Primary Schools in Chennai.
We place a lot of importance on continuous training. As a result, teachers feel empowered to focus on enhancing the learning capacity of their students.
